Hey!

the—lioness:

So I’ve decided that I’m going to make a blog strictly for my writing and photography.

It’s name will be little-writer-girl and I’m changing this blog title to the—lionness.

I’d love for you to follow that one, too!

And since I haven’t said it in a while:

I love you for following, and even if you don’t :)

I just got back from the cemetery.

I know that sounds weird, but it was really quite lovely.

I decided that I’m going to dedicate one of the characters from this book to someone that has already passed.

It was so peaceful there, and I was able to work out a couple scenes from later in the plot. I’m very pleased with what I came up with.

Also, revamping some of the plot. Removing some stuff, adding others. I’m liking what I see.

This book I bought has been really helpful. I’m so excited to keep reading. It’s called “The Making of a Story” by Alice LaPlante. It’s rockin’.

GOOD DAY.

Now, since I only had an hour and a half of sleep, I’m considering going back to bed for an hour… Don’t know how well that will work, but we’ll see. My eye lids are revolting against me haha.

“If you want to change someone’s mind about someone like Milly
It won’t happen in the first, or second, or even the first ten chapters
You need an entire story for something like that
Go ahead, let the audience be silly and misjudge her at first
But let them get closer and closer to understanding what’s really happening throughout
It’s fine if they hate her through every part of the book except for the last few chapters, so long as you get your readers to understand what you want them to understand
Because that’s what matters.”

How do I make them see you?

journey-to-beautiful:

The way I do?

Your life is far more real to me than any character I’ve ever created before. I simply want people to open their eyes and see. But how do I make that happen?
